From first sign-in to exam day, in four steps.
Step 1
Take a diagnostic
Your first test is a diagnostic. It samples every subject at every difficulty level, so the app learns what you already know and where you don’t yet. It isn’t a verdict on you — it’s the starting map. Take it again every few weeks to see how far you’ve moved.
Example. A diagnostic covers each subject at all five difficulty levels. Step 2
See your skill map
After the diagnostic you see your accuracy and pace for every topic. Weak topics are named plainly, so you know exactly where marks are slipping — and the map updates after every session, not once a month.
Example. Topic accuracy from 42% to 81%, weakest first. Step 3
Practise what’s weak
Adaptive practice gives you more questions from the topics you need, at the difficulty you’re ready for, and fewer where you’re already strong. You can also practise freely: quick sets, structured sets, or your own custom test.
Example. Three ways to practise: a quick set, a structured set, or a timed session. Step 4
Rehearse with mocks
When you’re ready, rehearse the whole exam. Mocks use NORCET’s marking — +1, −⅓, 0 — and its timing, with sections that lock once submitted. Your result shows score, accuracy, attempts and time.
Example. A mock result: 68 correct, 20 wrong and 12 skipped scores 61.3 out of 100.
